1: Split Stats
Throughout the season for teams, different trends will show up based off of different situations they face. The Lightning have fallen into trends as the season has gone on. Road and home split there are noticeable differences in how they play. The team is noticeably better at home with a better assist, rebound and scoring number by fare margins. On the road, some numbers are similar such as blocks, fouls, and field goal percentage, with actually having a higher 3 point percentage than at home. From February to March has also had differences in some key areas as well. February, the team had better passing and points scored per game as well as rebound numbers. In March the team has done better in turnover numbers, also similar in blocks field goal and 3 point percentage and better in free throw shooting. The team will need to consider their statistics with their upcoming games coming in two different environments and doing their best to win in both scenarios
2: Windsor here we come
A lookout for today's game as mentioned above will be how the Lightning will play on the road. They have fared better at home with a 12-7 record compared to their 8-11 record on the road. The key will be ball movement and energy. The biggest discrepancy from home to road games has been the assist numbers with a seven assist decrease for away games. Increased ball movement will help keep Windsor on their toes and never know who is going to score from where. Energy is a huge part of the Bolts game if they are going right at opposing teams, playing physical defence, getting into the paint, and most importantly crashing the boards, they will give any team a run for their money.
